Na 25 jaar passie en hard werken, viert L'Eroica dit jaar een mijlpaal en dat verdient iets speciaals. In samenwerking met Vittoria - al partner van alle L'Eroica-evenementen - en A Dugast heeft L'Eroica een unieke tube gecreëerd om zijn 25-jarig jubileum te vieren, deze is in een beperkte oplage beschikbaar.
Tubulars made by hand and heart
The XXV L’Eroica limited-edition tubular is a hand-made all-purpose competition tyre for vintage bicycles. Vittoria and A Dugast have combined their unparalleled expertise in tubular making to create a true masterpiece.
Using the tread of the glorious Vittoria Pavé, proven by many years of races on the legendary cobble stone roads of the Paris–Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders, the limited-edition tubular is built on A Dugast top-of-the-range coated cotton casing to offer increased sidewall protection and durability, even in the most extreme weather conditions.
The limited-edition tubular for L’Eroica XXV anniversary is available in 25 mm width to offer extra comfort and lower rolling resistance. Produced in 208 pieces, as many as L’Eroica Gaiole length in kilometres, the tubulars are 100% hand-made by A Dugast tyre artisans in their workshop in the Netherlands. Only natural material - such high-quality cotton, natural rubber and natural latex – are used. These premium materials, together with the hand-made process, give a small ecological footprint and provide riders with a very comfortable and high-quality tubular to ride on.
Numbered and customized with your initials
Handcrafting allows A Dugast for extreme customization. The limited-edition tubulars for L’Eroica XXV anniversary will be numbered and customized with the purchaser’s – or any other person of his choice – initials (4 letters can be added at maximum). Such personalization makes each tubular a unique piece to collect. The tyres are available for purchase in pair at € 240,00. They are packed and delivered in the typical A Dugast shoe box together with the Vittoria vintage cycling cap.
