Casings
A Dugast offers 3 tyre casing options:
Regular cotton casing
100% cotton casing with high TPI (thread-per-inch) coefficient. It offers increased puncture resistance, more elasticity, lower rolling resistance and better handling in corners. Available for track, road and cross tyres. Available in natural and black colour options.
Flying doctor casing
87.5% cotton / 12.5% kevlar casing with high TPI (thread-per-inch) coefficient. Lighter than Regular cotton casing and more resistant on the sidewalls against sharp edges. Unmatched handling in corners. The casing remains steady in the most extreme corners even when using low pressures.
Available for road and cross tyres. Available in natural colour option only. Flying Doctor is also an option for track tires, however this is currently mainly for tandem use on the track.
Silk casing
100% silk made casing with high TPI (thread-per-inch) coefficient. Extremely low rolling resistance and unparalleled acceleration.
The perfect casing option when the best performance is needed. Available for road and track tyres only. Available in natural colour option only.
