Mount clincher tyre

A. Dugast clincher is made of 100% cotton, we strongly recommend to follow this instruction very carefully to avoid a bubble under the tread.

TUBELESS SET UP

Attention: 100% cotton casing product.

Different way of mounting. Read this instruction very carefully to avoid a bubble on the tread.

For cotton tyres, use only ammonia free sealant. Before mounting, make sure the rim is the right size for the tyre. Consult us in case of doubt.

1. Clean the inside of the rim of any debris or old sealant.

2. Use a good quality tubeless rim tape, suitable for tubeless tyres and suitable for the inflation pressure indicated on the tyre.

3. Insert tubeless valve until the rubber base is resting firmly and uniformly on the rim tape.

4. After confirming the rotation direction of the wheel mount the 2 beads into the rim and make sure all the beads sit at the bottom of the rim profile.

Rotation of the tyre: the knobs on the tyre must always point to the driving direction.

5. Inflate the tire slowly
to max 1 bar. The bead does not need to click into the rim. Remove the valve core with a valve tool. Inject appropriate amount of sealant through
valve stem then reinstall the valve core.

6. Inflate the tire slowly up to max 1 bar. In the areas where the tire is not in the right position, carefully push it to the inside, so that the sealant can come over the full tyre between bead and rim. The sealant will help as a
lubricant when you twist the tire so that the bead will move into its final position.

DO NOT INFLATE MORE AIR than 1 bar.

7. If the tire is fully seated, inflate slowly to 1,5 bar. Spin the wheel in all directions to ensure sealant is coated evenly. Do not bounce the wheel.

Leave it during min. 12 hours before using.

Maintenance: Keep in a dry place, at room temperature and away from light. After each ride, always remove any particle stuck in the tread that might damage the casing, such as small stones, glass, metal etc. Clean the tyre with plain water. Even when not using the bike for long periods, keep the tyre slightly inflated with the valve located at the top of the wheel to prevent valve
clogging. Occasionally rotate the wheel to ensure the sealant is spread evenly within the tyre.

MOUNTING WITH INNER TUBES

Because the A. Dugast clincher is made of 100% cotton, we
strongly recommend to read and follow this instruction very carefully to avoid a bubble under the tread.

Before mounting, make sure the rim is the right size for the
tyre and inner tube. Consult us in case of doubt.

1. Clean the inside of the rim of any debris.

2. Use a good quality rim tape, suitable for the inflation pressure indicated on the tyre.

3. After confirming the rotation direction of the wheel, place the first bead, with the correct tire orientation, inside the bead of the rim.

Rotation of the tyre: the knobs on the tyre must always point to the driving direction.

4. Inflate the inner tube slightly up to < 0.5 bar.

5. Starting from the valve, insert the inner tube between the tyre and the rim.

6. Starting on the opposite side of the valve area, insert the second bead and work towards the valve area. Make sure the inner tube is not pinched between the tyre and the rim. If
necessary, carefully use a plastic tyre lever.

7. Inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure.

Maintenance: Keep in a dry place, at room temperature and
away from light. After each ride, always remove any particle stuck in the tread that might damage the casing, such as small stones, glass, metal etc. Clean the tyre with plain water.
